Notecove works by utilizing recent developments in audio processing and Large Language Models (LLMs) right on your computer locally. For less technical users: It captures audio from your computer, both microphone and speaker. This audio is then fed into a transcriber, which converts it to text. The speech segments are analyzed for speaker identification and diarization, and then everything is fed into the LLM running locally on your computer for summarization. This is just an overview - many intricate processes are involved!
